Peter Christer qualified in 1991 and worked as an associate in clinics in Amersham and Aylesbury before opening his own practice in Maidenhead in 2000. During this time Peter returned to University to qualify in Local Analgesia, Nail Surgery and Prescription Only Medication.
An accomplished and experienced Podiatrist specialising in general podiatry and nail surgery, Peter regularly attends professional development courses and seminars enabling him to provide comprehensive care and treatment to his patients.

Bindu Johnson graduated from the University of Northampton with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine in 2007. Since qualifying, she has been practicing in Central London, in both the NHS and private practice.
Apart from routine Podiatry, she has a keen interest in Diabetes and Nail Surgery and is certified in Local Anaesthesia. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of The College of Podiatry, she maintains her commitment and continual professional development to Podiatry by attending various courses to develop her knowledge and skills.

Pauline Shaw
Pauline graduated from Northampton University in 2007. She has worked within the NHS and the private sector since.
She has recently – December 2024 – completed a Skin Surgery Qualification which has extended her scope of practice to dermatology pathologies and surgery. Please see the section on our website titled ‘Skin Surgery’ for more information.
Pauline also undertakes routine podiatry, domiciliary visits, diabetes assessments and nail surgery.
Pauline is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and is registered with Health Care Professional Council.
In her spare time, she is a dedicated mother to her two young children and enjoys Pilates

Rachel graduated from Northampton University with BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry. She also has previous experience working as a Foot Health Practitioner within community settings.
Rachel is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and registered with the Health Care Professions Council.
She has a keen interest in diabetes management and the diabetic foot and can often be found in the medical tent volunteering at events such as the London Marathon.
Away from Podiatry, Rachel has two children and enjoys keeping fit.

Ismail graduated from Plymouth University as a podiatrist, a member of the Royal College of Podiaty and registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
While working as a podiatrist, Ismail went on to complete a Masters degree in the Theory of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Ismail has over 10 years experience both in the NHS and private sectors. His main interests are in biomechanics, diabetic foot care, pediatric foot care, and nail surgery.
Ismail has excellent communication skills and is always keen to assist, support and inform his patients..

Rebecca Rees graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 1994. She then returned to South Wales to work in two busy practices in Neath and Swansea. Rebecca has been working in Berkshire since 2001 and has an extensive and loyal following of patients.
Rebecca is registered with the General Chiropractic Council GCC and is also a member of the British Chiropractic Association BCA.
Lucy Steel gained a degree in Human Biology from Leeds University and then went on to complete a Masters degree in Chiropractic at the University of Surrey. She graduated in 2004 and since then has worked in clinics in Windsor, Maidenhead and Crowthorne.
Lucy enjoys treating patients of all ages, but her passion lies in the care of pregnant women, babies and children, and most of her post-graduate training has been in these areas. Lucy has two young daughters and so has been able to benefit first hand from treatment while pregnant and from treating both her daughters from when they were a few hours old! Lucy is is registered with the General Chiropractic Council GCC and is also a member of the British Chiropractic Association BCA.
Payment and Insurance
We accept cash, debit and credit cards (please note that we accept American Express). We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties. Treatments are pay-as-you-go unless approval has been provided (in writing) by a private healthcare provider. We are approved by a range of private medical companies but do not cover BUPA policies.
Confidentiality
We comply with the 1998 Data Protection Act by ensuring that personal information is processed fairly and lawfully and will only be shared with the specific consent of the patient. We need to keep comprehensive and accurate personal data about patients in order to provide safe and appropriate care and we are required, by law, to hold this information for eight years for adults and until 25 years of age for children, whichever is the sooner, after which it will be destroyed. Data is held electronically and in a manual filing system. The information is not accessible to the public and can only be viewed by authorised members of staff. Our computers have secure audit trails and are backed-up routinely.
