I wanted to recommend the Maidenhead Podiatry and Chiropractic Clinic in Havelock Road. My husband has toenail issues and has tried his best to stay away from GPs and self-treat but this time he needed proper help. I called the podiatrist clinic and they gave us a same day appointment. My husband said the podiatrist didn’t mess about for a second and in less than 30 mins 3 nails were fixed for a very reasonable set fee and I now have a very cheerful and relieved husband. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Just had a fantastic experience at Maidenhead Podiatry. My feet are so smooth and I can’t wait to go back again. Next time I am booked in for a pedicure too and I am definitely going to book for a beauty treatment for my pre-Christmas treat. I recommend everyone at the Clinic to you all.

I went to Liam McManus at Maidenhead Podiatry the other day and he was great. All sorted!

Lovely friendly staff, your Clinic/Studio is absolutely gorgeous and my nails look fab!!!

I’ve just had some minx nails done on my toe nails before a 4 week trip. They are still looking great! Can thoroughly recommend these over nail varnish any day. Having LCN Toe Nail Reconstruction with Chloe was the best thing have ever done for my feet and self-confidence! There was no need to feel embarrassed about my unsightly nails and she put me at my ease and was very professional. All the equipment she used was disposable so there was no chance of picking up an infection. My new toe nails feel natural and are looking great for sandals at last!

Thank you Caroline and to your friendly and very professional team at the Hand Foot and Beauty Studio where I enjoyed a very relaxing and much needed Medi Ped. Having just last week, relcoated to Maidenhead, it was very welcome! Such a great concept having Podiatry and Beauty in the same business / location. Highly recommend to anyone.

Peter and Caroline have set up an excellent business where patients/clients are able to have a variety of podiatry, chiropractic and pampering Beauty Therapy treatments. The Clinic is welcoming and the staff warm, friendly and efficient. Both my mother and I have had treatments and have always been delighted with the quality of the care and standard of the treatments given. Peter has always treated my mother with respect and is extra caring towards her as an elderly, vulnerable patient. Well done all of you and may you continue to thrive.

As a family we have a long and happy association with the clinic. My father visits Peter for regular, much needed care for his feet and my mother has had Chiropractic treatment with Rebecca for help with pain management as she has a crumbling spine. I visit Michelle for deep tissue/sports massage and I find it a great way to relax and it really helps my body stay unknotted and calm. All the staff, both on Reception and throughout the clinic, are welcoming and supportive and I always recommend the clinic to my friends and family.

Lovely, friendly and thoroughly professional – I have been a client for years!

If you have a bad back, Rebecca Rees BSc (Chiro) at Maidenhead Podiatry and Chiropractic Clinic, is highly recommended! She is caring and kind, reassuring and approachable and her treatments have really helped me. Visiting the clinic is a happy and positive experience, as everyone is lovely and the surroundings are bright, airy and comfortable.
Peter removed a fungally infected toenail that I have been trying to sort out for 9 months unsuccessfully with topical treatments, as well as sorting out a corn on my heel. He sorted it out in about 1 minute with no discomfort or pain at all. Truly amazing. I recommend him highly and am grateful for his sincere and his straightforward advice.
All staff have provided me with a first class service over the last six years from initial telephone calls to make contact and appointments, through to courteous and helpful Reception at all times plus excellent, very professional treatments. The premises are extremely well appointed and very clean, which is in keeping with the highly professional clinical services received.
An excellent service. Easy and friendly to make booking and Peter inspired confidence with his attitude and knowledge. I would recommend his service to anyone and, since I visited Peter, my wife has seen Caroline several times – a real recommendation believe me!! Thank you.
I went here and found the service first class from start to finish. It is all set in very clean and well appointed surroundings with out being stuffy or starchy. Peter goes out of his way to do the very best treatment. My wife can’t rate Caroline highly enough. Definitely recommend to anyone.
I have been a client of Peter for over 6 years now and would not go to anyone else. I am happy to travel from Reading to see them as the service and more importantly the QUALITY of that service is second to none. EVERYONE involved in the centre are always polite, courteous and put all the clients at ease. Any foot problems? See Peter – he is the best!
Excellent customer service from Reception desk to treatment room. I’d seen various podiatrists for a while but Maidenhead Podiatry has been great! I can’t recommend their specialist insoles enough either.
Golden tips from Maidenhead Podiatry to keep your feet sweet in the hot weather.
Watch out for foot infections – the floors of communal showers and changing rooms at open-air and hotel swimming pools are hot spots for infections such as athlete’s foot and verrucas.
Don’t wander around public pools barefoot. Protect your feet by wearing flip-flops in the changing room and at the pool edge.
If your feet smell, wash them using an antibacterial soap. (If this doesn’t work – see the chiropodist/podiatrist). You can spray your feet with an anti-perspirant deodorant – the type used for arm pits.
If you have sweaty feet in the summer, it’s even more important to wash your feet each morning and evening in warm, soapy water then dry them thoroughly. You can also use an antibacterial wash, which helps deal with foot odour. Wipe them with cotton wool dipped in surgical spirit and dust them with talc.
Nylon tights don’t absorb any sweat at all, so enclosed shoes on the shop floor can be very hot and uncomfortable.
If you wear trousers, it's best to use socks with shoes.
If you wear skirts, sandals with a back strap and strap over the instep are the most comfortable option.
If you use talcum powder, shake off all excess otherwise it ends up as soggy clumps between the toes and makes matters worse! ...
